Peacefully on Friday 14th July 2017, at Belong in Macclesfield, Derek aged 80 years of Tytherington. The dearly loved Husband of Rita, a loving Father of Sue, loved Father in Law of Steve, treasured Grandad of David and Nicola. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday 31st July at 1.20 pm. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for Parkinson’s U.K.

On 15th July 2017 peacefully in the East Cheshire Hospice, Peter aged 73 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Marjorie and a beloved and much loved Father.  Peter will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at All Saints Church Siddington on Thursday, 3rd August at 2.00 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

On 2nd August 2017 peacefully at home, Derek aged 86 years of Macclesfield.  The dearly loved Husband of Audrey, beloved and much loved Father, a cherished Grandfather and a treasured Great Grandfather.  Derek will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday, 21st August at 2.00 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice and the Macmillan Trust.

Suddenly on Tuesday 11th July 2017, at his home in Tytherington, Fred aged 88 years. Husband of Brenda, Father of Susan and Jennifer. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday 28th July at 11.20 am. Peacefully on Saturday 8th July 2017, at Weston Park Care Home in Macclesfield, William Roger aged 76 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of Brenda, a much-loved Father of Andrew and Richard and a loving Father in Law of Sharon and Gill. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday 24th July at 11.20 am. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for the Staff on ward 4, at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

Peacefully on Thursday 10th August 2017, at Woodlands Care Home, Macclesfield, Gladys aged 93 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Wife of the late Ralph, a much-loved Mother of Jane and Lynne. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday 29th August at 1.20 pm. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for Dementia U.K.

Peacefully on Sunday 30th July 2017, at his home in Prestbury, Trevor aged 77 years. The dearly loved Husband of Liz, a much-loved Father of Stephen and Malcolm and a loving Step Father of Clare, Howard and Grace. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. On 3rd August 2017 peacefully in a local care home, Suzanne aged 78 years.  A loving and much loved Wife of the late Rowland, Mother to Robert and Clare, and Granny to Matilda.  Suzanne will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her family and friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. James Gawsworth on Thursday 31st August at 1.00 p.m. prior to a Private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only by request, but if desired, donations may be made in favour of BTO (British Trust for Ornithology).

Peacefully on Wednesday 2nd August 2017, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Phil aged 81 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Pauline, now reunited, a much-loved Dad of Karen, Annette and Clare and a cherished Grandad of seven. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Edward the Confessor on Thursday 17th August at 11.00 am, prior to Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery. Peacefully on Saturday 8th July 2017, at the East Cheshire Hospice and after an illness borne with much courage and dignity, Clive aged 79 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of Edith, a much-loved Dad of Nick and Lee, a loving Father in Law of Amy and a cherished Grandad of Luke and Verity. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday 24th July at 2.40 pm. On 13th July 2017 peacefully in Hospital, Peter aged 83 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Nora, beloved and much loved Father of Simon, Stephen and Andrew,  a cherished Grandad and a treasured Great Grandad.  Peter will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday, 27th July 2017 at 2.40 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

On 10th July 2017 peacefully in Hospital, Harold aged 81 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Joan,  beloved and much loved Father of Stephen, a cherished Grandad, a treasured Great Grandad and Great Great Grandad and a loved Brother to Joan and Thelma.  Harold will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday, 24th July at 3.20 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

On 7th July 2017 peacefully in Hospital, Maureen aged 83 years.  The dearly loved Wife of Louis, beloved and much loved Mother of Paul, Sarah and the late Stephen a cherished Grandmother and a treasured Great Grandmother.  Maureen will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St James the Great Gawsworth on Tuesday, 1st August at 1.00 p.m. followed by a Committal Service at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Bloodwise (formerly known as the Leukaemia Research Fund) or Alzheimer’s Society.

On 25th July 2017 peacefully in a local care home, Annie aged 89 years.  The dearly loved Wife of Christopher, beloved and much loved Mother of Christine, John and Mark and a cherished Grandmother.  Annie will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at St Chads RC Church, Cheadle on Friday, 11th August at 12.45 p.m. followed by an Interment in Mill Lane Cemetery.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of The Alzheimer’s Society.

On Monday 24th July 2017 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Doris aged 87 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Wife of the late Stanley Leonard, a much-loved Mother of Carol and Shaun, a loving Mother in Law of Derek and Ange, a cherished Grandma of Faye and Matthew and a treasured Great Grandma of Mollie, Matilda and Florence. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 10th August at 12 Noon. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

 

Suddenly on Saturday 22nd July 2017, at home in Macclesfield, Chris aged 51 years. The dearly loved Husband of Claire, a devoted Daddy of Anna and Max, a much-loved Brother of Steve and Jonathan, loving Brother in Law, loved Son in Law, treasured Uncle and Son of the late Ernie and Elsie. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family, friends and work colleagues. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday 9th August at 11.20 am, all mourners are respectfully asked by the family to wear a splash of red. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for the British Heart Foundation.

Suddenly on Thursday 27th July 2017, at home in Hurdsfield, Ian aged 83 years, former proprietor of Sunny Bank Nurseries. The dearly loved Husband of Marian, a much-loved Father of Nicholas, loving Father in Law of Julia, treasured Grandfather of Louisa and a cherished Great Grandfather of Curtis and Ryan. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and close friends. The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. James, Sutton on Wednesday 23rd August at 11.00 am, prior to Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for Guide dogs for the blind or Macclesfield Society for the blind.

Peacefully on Thursday 3rd August 2017, at the East Cheshire Hospice in the presence of his loving family, Paul aged 56 years of Gawsworth. The much-loved Dad of Francesca, a loving Son of Jean and a dearly loved Brother of Lynne, Angela, Jon and Carl. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 24th August at 11.20 am. Peacefully on Thursday 13th July 2017, at his home in Macclesfield, Patrick aged 88 years. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday 4th August at 2.40 pm. On 5th July 2017 peacefully in Hospital, Marjorie aged 92 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Clarence, beloved and much loved Mother and a cherished Grandmother.  Marjorie will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at Parish Church of St Peter, Prestbury on Tuesday 25th July 2017 at 11.00 a.m. followed by a private Family Interment.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of The Donkey Sanctuary or the RNLI.

On Monday 17th July 2017, Peter, aged 77, died peacefully at the East Cheshire Hospice surrounded by family after an illness borne with courage and dignity. The beloved father of Shar and cherished brother of Pip, he will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and wonderful circle of friends. Following a private service of committal at Macclesfield Crematorium, a service of celebration will take place at the Parish Church of St. Paul, 7 Glegg Street, Macclesfield, SK11 7AJ on Friday 4th August at 11.15am. No flowers please, but donations are encouraged for the East Cheshire Hospice and The Christie.

On 29th July 2017 peacefully in the East Cheshire Hospice, Bert aged 84 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Sylvia, beloved and much loved Father of Loraine and Liz, a cherished Grandad of Hilary and Rosie and a treasured Father-in-Law to Alan.  Bert will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday, 14th August at 1.20 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

On Monday 17th July 2017 peacefully in a local care home, Roy aged 95 years of Alderley Edge.  The dearly loved Husband of the late Mary, beloved and much loved Father of Jean, Isobel and Duncan, a cherished Grandpa and a treasured Great Grandpa.  Roy will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. Mary Nether Alderley on Monday 7th August at 1.15 pm, followed by a service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only by request, but donations may be made if so desired, in favour of the Macclesfield Eye Society.
