BOSTON Brian Philip

Peacefully on Thursday, 28^th March 2024, at his home, Brian aged 93 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Brenda, loving Father of Janet. CALDERBANK Vance

CHADWICK Barbara

COOPER Hedley

On Tuesday, 12th March 2024, peacefully in a local care home, Hedley aged 79 years.  Beloved and loving Husband of Val, loving Father of Jonathan and Matthew, much loved Father-in-Law to Karen, loving and devoted Grandfather of Jessica and Joe.  Hedley will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service will take place at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday 4th April at The Parish Church of St Paul, Macclesfield followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, to Diabetes UK or St Paul’s Macclesfield PCC.

DAVIES Eileen Ellen

On Saturday, 16^th March 2024 peacefully in a local care home, Hazel aged 79 years.  The dearly loved Wife of Robert, beloved and much loved Mother of Tim, Robin and Isobel and a cherished Grandmother.  Hazel will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St Catherine’s Church Birtles on Thursday, 11^th April 2024 at 12 noon.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

DOUGHERTY Margaret Joan

On Friday, 1^st March 2024, peacefully in the East Cheshire Hospice, Margaret aged 87 years.  Beloved and loving Wife of the late John, loving Mother of Jane and Mark, much loved Mother-in-Law to Carl, devoted Grandmother of Joshua, Esther, Adam, Francis, Eira and Bastian, Great Grandmother of Filippa and William and a dearly loved Sister of Catherine.  Margaret will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service will take place at 1.30 p.m. on Monday 25^th March at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Hurdsfield followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

Peacefully on Friday, 8^th March 2024, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Edna aged 91 years, of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Wife of the late Kenneth Robert Few, a much-loved Mother of Michael and Pauline. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered, by her loving family and friends. Peacefully on Friday, 5^th April 2024, at his home and in the presence of his loving family, Andy aged 68 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of May, a much-loved Father of Samantha, Scott and Wayne. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. MACKELLAR Alan

Aged 92.  Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on 6^th March 2024.  Much loved husband of the late Sonia and father of David, Catherine, Richard, Stephen & Peter.  He will be greatly missed by us all and the extended family including 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  The Funeral will be at Macclesfield Crematorium on 12^th April 2024 at 10:45 a.m.  Donations may be made if desired to The Alzheimer’s Society.

Peacefully on Saturday, 9^th March 2024, after a short illness at Macclesfield District General Hospital, William aged 91 years, of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Marina Morris, a much-loved Father of Mark and Julie, loving Father-In-Law of Kim and David and a cherished Grandad of James and Francesca. WILSON Norman

On Sunday 25^th February 2024, peacefully in a local care home, Norman aged 92 years.  Beloved and loving Husband of Barbara, loving Father of Fiona and Andrew, much loved Father-in-Law to Brian, loving and devoted Grandfather of Jeremiah and a dear Brother of Geoffrey and the late Alan.  Norman was the Branch Manager of the Midland Bank PLC between the years of 1970-1977, a member of Macclesfield Rotary Club and a member of Probus.  Norman will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 2.45 p.m. on Friday, 22^nd March at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.
