We are not connected with any other businesses, either directly or indirectly. We provide a truly independent service, however to ensure that you are fully informed of all assistance available to you, we will also provide you with help and information from other, external service providers. We take reasonable steps to ensure that these third-party providers are suitable organisations who conduct their business in a similar manner to ourselves.

We will treat the personal information that we obtain from you with total regard for the regulations surrounding data protection. We will establish your needs and help you to make the right choices for you and your loved one. In doing this, we will never exploit your vulnerability or try to persuade you to choose an elaborate funeral when a less expensive funeral is more appropriate to your circumstances.

You are unlikely to witness the care of your loved one, but we assure you that everything, both seen and unseen, is carried out as though the family were present. We promise that your loved one will be treated with the greatest care and respect, ensuring that their dignity is maintained at all times. We will dress and present your loved one in their own clothing or a simple, dignified robe that we will provide free of charge.

Our Funeral Services

We will explain the full extent of services that we are able to provide to you. We will provide you with a range of choices, including the availability of a bespoke, simple, or no service funeral. We will itemise each component of the services provided in a written estimate which will be provided to you, along with our Terms of Business, before you appoint us. Our estimate will also include services which are provided by third-parties. These third-party costs are known as ‘disbursements’.

We will require your acceptance of our estimate of funeral expenses and confirmation of our engagement before we are able to proceed. We will confirm the cost of any changes that you ask us to make before we proceed; this way you will always know how these changes affect the total cost of the funeral. We believe that our prices are fair and reasonable and that we provide excellent value. A copy of our pricelist is available upon request.

We make every possible effort to ensure that our premises are warm, comfortable and welcoming. They are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with prevailing health and safety regulations. Our chapels of rest provide you with a calm and tranquil environment where you may pay your respects to your loved one. They may be adapted to suit all religious and cultural needs.

Our on-site mortuary facilities are also equipped to the highest standard and maintained in impeccable condition to ensure that your loved one is cared for in the best possible environment. We often hold Open Days where the public are able to look round our premises at Park Green House. If you would like to see them for yourself then please contact us so that a suitable arrangement may be made.
